(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Public Utilities Commission has announced that the power cut will be implemented on a rotating basis island wide today.
The Public Utilities Commission has stated that the request made by the Ceylon Electricity Board regarding the power cut has been granted.
Accordingly, in zones A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L, it is two and a half hours between 8 am and 6 pm and one hour between 6 pm and 11 pm. The resistor will be applied for 15 minutes.
In addition, in Zones P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W, the Public Utilities Commission has announced that the blackout will be in effect for 2 hours between 9 am and 5 pm and for 1 hour between 5 pm and 9 pm.
