(UTV|COLOMBO) – Superintendent of Police (SP) Jaliya Senaratne has been appointed as the new Police Spokesperson.
Accordingly, the Police Media Unit, which had not been in operation for several weeks following the new Government assume Office, will operate under SP Senaratne effective immediately.
The National Police Commission (NPC) has approved the new appointment.
