PM convenes meeting of party leaders

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has convened a meeting of party leaders representing the Government today (23).

The Prime Minister’s Media Unit stated that the meeting of the party leaders will be held at Temple Trees this afternoon.

Accordingly, Government allies will hold discussions with the Prime Minister today regarding handing over the construction of the Kerawalapitiya power plant to an American company without a tender.

The meeting was scheduled to be held in Parliament yesterday (22) however was later canceled.
