(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Court of Appeal today (05) ordered the writ petition filed seeking an order to annul the Gazette Notification on the daily minimum wage of estate workers to be taken up for consideration.
Accordingly, the petition will be considered on 05 May.
The Government recently issued a Gazette Notification increasing the daily wage of rubber and tea estate workers to Rs. 1,000.
