Permission to use Service IDs as curfew passes extended

(UTV | COVID-19) – The validity period granted to use the Service Identity Cards (IDs) as a curfew pass for those engaged in essential services has been extended till 31 May, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana stated.

Accordingly, the passes which were to be expired tomorrow (30) are permitted to be used until 31 May.

DIG Rohana stressed that employees in the sectors of Agriculture, Central, Private and State Banks Banks, Customs, Immigration and Emigration, Media, Petroleum, Ports, Railways, Telecommunication, Transport, Treasury, Water and Electricity Supply have been granted permission until 31 May to use their Service IDs as a curfew passes.
