(UTV | COLOMBO) – Paralympic gold medalist Dinesh Priyantha and bronze medalist Samitha Dulan have met Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Namala Rajapaksa today (08) morning.
It is reported that their coach Pradeep Nishantha was also present at the meeting held at the ministry this morning.
The prize-giving ceremony for the two athletes will be held on 10 or 13 September at the Ministry of Sports.
The National Paralympic Committee stated that the two Paralympic medalists will also meet the President and the Prime Minister.
Cabinet approval was also granted recently to present cash prizes to Tokyo Paralympic gold medalist Dinesh Priyantha and bronze medalist Samitha Dulan.
