(UTV|COLOMBO) – Election monitoring body, the People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections says 6,000 observers will be deployed to monitor the 2020 General Election.
Speaking to a prominent online news portal in the isle, Executive Director of PAFFREL Rohana Hettiarachchi said training of election observers will commence promptly.
He noted the observers will be deployed and trained following the commencement of accepting nominations.
