(UTV | COLOMBO) – An individual had been arrested with over 10 kilograms of heroin valued over Rs. 100 million at Wanawasala in Kelaniya this morning (02).
The Intelligence Unit attached to the Special Task Force (STF) conducted the raid following a tip-off and recovered 10.2 kilograms of heroin and over 6 kilograms of cannabis.
Investigations revealed that the narcotics had been smuggled into the country from Afghanistan.
