Over 600 PCR Tests conducted in 24-hours

(UTV | COVID-19) – Over 600 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Tests to detect COVID-19 were carried out in Sri Lanka yesterday (17), the Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe stated.

Accordingly, 695 PCR Tests were conducted yesterday making it the highest number of Tests conducted in a single day in the country thus far.
