Over 56,000 curfew violators arrested since March

(UTV | COVID-19) – Over 56,000 individuals have been arrested and 15,490 vehicles seized for violating the curfew since March, the Police stated today (17).

Accordingly, 620 people were arrested and 274 vehicles were seized during the 24-hours ended at 6.00 this morning.

A total of 56,326 individuals were arrested and 15,490 vehicles were seized for violating the curfew enforced around the country to contain the spread of the COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the Police said that legal action has been filed against 13,556 individuals for violating the curfew.
