Over 300 Lankans repatriated from Japan and Myanmar

(UTV | COVID-19) – A total of 308 more individuals were flown to Sri Lanka yesterday (16) from Japan and Myanmar.

Accordingly, 234 individuals were flown to Sri Lanka from Japan by a SriLankan Airlines flight, while 74 individuals were flown from Myanmar by a flight owned by its Government.

They all were taken to Army-managed Quarantine Centres (QCs) for quarantine process, a Media statement of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.
