Over 120 MPs wants the Government to Resign- Udaya Gammanpila

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former Minister and Leader of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya Udaya Gammanpila said that there are 120 MPs who would support the No-Confidence motion that will be moved by the Samagi Jana Balavegaya.

He said that if the government does not step down, the No-Confidence Motion will be tabled in parliament this week.

Speaking to reporters on Monday (25), the MP said when the SJB was planning to move a NCM against the government, he informed them that they need to have support of at least 113 MPs, if not the motion will convert to motion of faith for the government.
