Over 100 arrested for failing to adhere to health regulations

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Over 100 individuals were arrested yesterday (21) for failing to adhere to health and safety regulations.

Accordingly, 189 arrests were made for not wearing face masks and failing to maintain social distancing, the Police Media Spokesperson, the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) Ajith Rohana said.

The DIG added that 51,581 suspects have been arrested since 30 October in this regard.
