Notice for those who are yet to receive allowance of Rs 2,000

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Home Affairs states that persons who have lost their livelihood due to the imposed quarantine curfew and have not yet received the allowance of Rs. 2,000 provided by the government can file an appeal through the Grama Niladhari in charge of their area of ​​residence.

Ministry Secretary N.H.M. Chithrananda said that about 50 percent of those who qualified had already been paid the Rs. 2,000 allowance.
