(UTV | COLOMBO) – No final decision has still been taken on reopening universities due to the issue of student hostels, the Minister of Education said.
Authorities have expressed concerns over the fact that a large number of students will be using common facilities as the threat due to the COVID-19 still remains in the country.
However the universities should be reopened before long, Minister G. L. Peiris added.
