Nine missing Jaffna uni students found

UTV | COLOMBO – Nine Jaffna University students who had ventured into the Muththiyankattu forest reserve in Pudukuduirippu and were reported missing, have been found.

The students were found this morning by Police and Sri Lanka Army personnel during a special operation conducted to locate them, following which the group were escorted to safety.

The group consists of medical faculty students of the University of Jaffna, who were reported missing yesterday.

Police stated that all the students are now safe.
