(UTV | COLOMBO) – Several Naval Officers including the former Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda are due to appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate incidents of political revenge, this afternoon (10).
The Officers have lodged a complaint that the former Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Shani Abeysekera and Inspector of Police (IP) Nishantha de Silva had obtained false statements and filed a complaint in the Colombo High Court.
