(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Teachers and Principals Trade Union Alliance has decided to declare the day after tomorrow as a day of national protest demanding a solution to the teacher-principal salary issue and other problems in the country.
Addressing a media briefing yesterday the General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Service Union Mahinda Jayasinghe stated that the protest will be held in front of every Education Zonal Office.
Meanwhile, he further stated that a protest has been organized in front of Mederigama Vidyalaya in Mawanella today to protest against the threats made by politicians.
