(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Government of China donated another 500 Metric Tonne of rice (50,000 packs) for needy students in Sri Lanka.
This shipment of 50,000 packs donated by China to Sri Lanka reached Colombo Port on Tuesday (25) aborad the Vessel NAVIOS JASMINE and will soon be distributed to the students.
Another 500 MT will arrive next week, bringing the Chinese Aid tally to 6,000 MT, said the Chinese Embassy in Colombo.
