(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former Opposition Leader of the Western Provincial Council Kithsiri Kahatapitiya has passed away.
Tissa Attanayake, the National Organizer of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), stated that he had passed away last night while being treated for COVID-19 at the Kotelawala Defence University Hospital for about 20 days.
Kithsiri Kahatapitiya was 60 years old at the time of his death and was also the Bulathsinhala electorate organizer of the SJB.
