Kerawalapitiya power plant paralyzed

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Work on the Kerawalapitiya power plant has been suspended due to fuel shortages.

In the face of the current dollar crisis, the public has to be in the dark for 5-6 hours a day due to island-wide power outages due to the inability to import fuel.

It is noteworthy that the Sapugaskanda oil refinery was closed a few days ago due to lack of essential lubricants.
