(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to pay the increased salaries of teachers from this month.
Speaking to media following the Cabinet meeting held last evening, Minister Gamini Lokuge said accordingly teachers will receive the increased salary from the 20th of this month.
The Minister further said a decision was also reached to provide concessions to various groups including Samurdhi beneficiaries.
