(UTV | COLOMBO) – The highest number of vaccines given in a single day in relation to the COVID-19 immunization programme in the country was recorded yesterday with 437,878 persons getting vaccinated.
Accordingto the Epidemiology Unit statistics, 365,628 doses of Sinopharm were provided as the 1st dose, while 35,722 doses were administered as the 2nd dose.
Meanwhile, 25,240 doses of the Moderna vaccine and 108 doese of pfizer were provided as the first dose.
