High fuel prices and COVID-restrictions affect taxi drivers [VIDEO]

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Public transport drivers in Sri Lanka have been severely affected by the health measures taken since the emergence of the Corona pandemic, thus their conditions have deteriorated with the recent increase in fuel prices, leading to their inability to pay the premiums of their vehicles owed to them by companies and banks.

Taxi drivers urged the government to raise the transportation fair so that they can increase their income and pay their financial obligations to the banks.
