Hemasiri and Pujith in Court today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Hemasiri Fernando and mandatory-leave Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara are set to be produced before Court today (06).

Hemasiri and Pujith are charged with failure to take measures to prevent the Easter Sunday attacks in April last year, or minimise the destruction caused, despite receiving prior intelligence information.
