(UTV | COLOMBO) – The strike launched by the health workers belonging to the Federation of Health Professionals continues today for the 2nd day.
Sixteen unions, including nurses, paramedics, and PHI’s, went on strike yesterday over a series of demands, including pay and allowance issues.
Patients who arrived at the hospitals were severely inconvenienced due to the strike launched by the health workers from 7.00am yesterday.
