Grace period offered to pay electricity bills

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Power and Energy has granted a grace period for the payment of electricity bills for the month of February.

Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said consumers will be allowed to settle their February bills by 31 March.

The electricity supply will not be disconnected during this period, he added.

The Minister urged all consumers to pay their outstanding bills within the announced grace period.
