(UTV | COLOMBO) – Today marks the second year of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa’s appointmne as President.
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was elected the 7th Executive President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the November 16, 2019 Presidential Election, obtaining 52.25% of the total votes.
The President was sworn in on November 18 in front of the historic Ruwanweli Stupa in Anuradhapura.
