(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) through an Extraordinary Gazette Notification yesterday (07) said coconut oil should not be mixed with any other oil subsidiaries.
Accordingly, coconut oil sold in bulk or in retail in bottles or packs or containers and the said edible Coconut oil shall not be blended with any other oil/oils, the gazette notification said.
The direction will come into effect from May 7.
