Gas delivery for hospitals on priority basis

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Health has instructed all heads of hospitals to inform of their gas requirements as soon as possible, and take action to prevent shortages.

The ministry said that it had instructed gas company agents to release the required gas stocks, giving priority to the needs of hospitals.

The price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Laugfs gas has been increased again to Rs. 4,199/-.

Earlier a 12.5 cylinder of Laugfs gas was sold for Rs. 3,940.

Meanwhile, Litro Gas confirmed on Monday (21) that despite the increase in Laugfs gas prices, no decision has been taken to increase Litro gas prices.

However, due to the shortage of gas, the public is still waiting in long queues to buy gas.
