Fundamental Rights Petition Filed Against forceful vaccinations

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Sinhala Ravaya organization says it will file a Fundamental Rights petition before the Supreme Court today against forceful vaccinations and the regulation that prevents unvaccinated persons from visiting public places.

The Sinhala Ravaya said the government must understand the people’s right to reach a personal decision regarding getting vaccinated, and safeguarding against COVID-19 as they choose.

The organization further stated persons who don’t have any illnesses and are not taking any medication cannot be vaccinated forcefully or by enacting laws to instill fear, adding that it must be done by making it socially acceptable.
