(UTV | COLOMBO) – Ten essential food items will be sold at a fixed price for six months starting from February.
Minster of Trade, Bandula Gunawardene has said; rice, flour, sugar, canned fish, dhal, eggs, chicken, sprats, onion and potatoes will be sold at a fixed price from February to June.
Minister said today that tenders will be called to identify suppliers to sell above items at a fixed rate, the ministry said in a press release.
They will be sold at CWE outlets, co-operative shops and Q shops, the ministry said.
