UTV | COLOMBO – The first Randoli Perahera of the Kandy Esala Perahara will take to the streets today.
Diyawadana Nilame of the Temple of the Tooth Relic Pradeep Nilaga Dela said the Perahera will parade on the predetermined route throughout the procession.
Meanwhile the Diyawadana Nilame expressed his appreciation to the public for cooperating with health guidelines during the conduct of the Kumbal Perahera which was held over the last five days.
He noted officials therefore hope to successfully conduct the Randoli Perahera over the next five days as well, in keeping with ancient tradition and culture.
The Diyawadana Nilame again urged the public to cooperate with organisers once again to ensure a successful Perahera.
