First Pfizer Vaccine doses arrive in Sri Lanka

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A consignment of 26,000 doses of Pfizer Vaccines has arrived in Sri Lanka, State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals, Professor Channa Jayasumana said.

This is the first time a country in the South Asian region has received the Pfizer Vaccine, which is manufactured in the United States (US).

Sri Lanka expect to receive 5 million doses of the Pfizer Vaccine.
