Don’t queue up at filling stations for the next 3 days

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has requested the public to refrain from forming queues at filling stations for the next three days.

The Minister also requested the public to refrain from unnecessarily stocking up on fuel.

A vessel carrying a shipment of diesel arrived yesterday while three more vessels under the Indian Credit Line are scheduled to arrive in the country within the next two weeks.

Taking to Twitter, Minister Wijesekera said there will be sufficient fuel stocks.

The Minister requested the public to refrain from forming queues until fuel distribution is completed at all 1,190 filling stations.
