(UTV | COLOMBO) – A special discussion is due to be held today pertaining to reopening schools for the third term.
Secretary to the Ministry of Education Professor Kapila Perera said the discussion will be held online with the Ministry Task Force.
Schools were due to reopen on the 9th of November for the third term.
However, the Education Ministry noted a decision in this regard will be reached after taking into consideration the prevailing coronavirus situation in the country.
Attention will also be drawn towards reopening the University of Kelaniya and other faculties that are closed at present.
