(UTV|COLOMBO) – Minister Prasanna Ranatunga says discussions will be held with the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau to grant discounts to persons travelling for foreign employment from the Mattala International Airport.
The measures are focused on attracting international traffic to the Mattala Airport.
Minister Ranatunga said Cabinet approval has been granted to develop the Mattala Airport to transform it to an attractive destination, and expressed hope to make the airport actively operational in the near future.
