‘Denuwara Menike’ temporarily halted

(UTV | COLOMBO) – ‘Denuwara Menike’ Intercity Train, which runs on the upcountry line between Colombo Fort and Badulla, has temporarily ceased its operations, stated the Railways Department.

Commuters are required to reserve seats on the ‘Denuwara Menike’ in advance.

The decision has been taken due to a minimal number of reservations.

Further the Railways stated that,those who have already reserved seats for the ‘Denuwara Menike’ will be accommodated on the ‘Podi Menike’ train.
