(UTV | COLOMBO) – Total COVID 19 infections detected in Sri Lanka exceeds 40,000 with 500 new cases found this evening, health officials said.
Among the 500 new cases detected, 448 are close contacts of previous cases and 52 are from the prison cluster.
Sri Lanka’s total caseload now stands at 40,282 with 8045 active cases under medical care.
