(UTV | COLOMBO) – Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa inaugurated the construction work on the 3rd stretch of the Central Expressway from Pothuhera to Galagedara yesterday (19).
The ground-breaking ceremony held at Lihinigiriya on the Pothuhera – Wadakada Road.
The 31 kilometres long Pothuhera – Galagedara stretch will have 4 lanes and 4 interchanges including Galagedara, Polgahawela, Pothuhera, and Rambukkana.
The construction is expected to be completed within the next 48-months.
