CEB says there will be no power cuts today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ceylon Electricity Board says they will not enforce power cuts within the day today.

CEB Additional General Manager and Media Spokesman Andrew Nawamani said furnace oil stocks at the Sapugaskanda oil refinery will run out at 2 pm today.

However, he noted that the situation can be managed efficiently since electricity demand will be below average on Saturday.
