(UTV | COLOMBO) – Ajith Nivard Cabraal has received the letter of appointment from the President as the new Central Bank Governor.
Cabraal is a Chartered Accountant by profession.
Prior to this appointment, Cabraal also served as a Ministry Secretary as well as the Governor of the Central Bank for nearly 09 years.
Cabraal previously held the portfolio as the State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms.
