Bus conductors & drivers to get Rs.5,000

Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has decided to grant bus drivers and conductors who have been affected by the ongoing curfew and lack of services as a result, a Rs.5,000 allowance.

The Minister said President Rajapaksa yesterday consented to a request to grant Rs.5,000, that is given to persons without a permanent income, to be granted to bus conductors and drivers as well.
