(UTV | COLOMBO) – The debate on the second reading of the 2022 budget begins today (13).
Accordingly, 07 days have been allocated for this debate.
However, the vote on the second reading is scheduled for 22nd November Monday, at 05:00 p.m.
The Committee Stage debate will then commence on 23rd November, and will be held for 16 days with the final vote scheduled for the 10th of December.
Finance minister Basil Rajapaksa submitted his inaugural budget, the budget for 2022 in Parliament yesterday (12).
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa was also present during the speech, as the Finance Minister presented the 76th budget of Sri Lanka.
