(UTV|COLOMBO) – A foreign national had drowned while sea bathing at Polwathumodara in Weligama Police Division, stated the Police.
Reportedly, the incident had occurred at around 11 am last morning (29).
The deceased has been identified as a 62-year-old British citizen.
His body is currently kept at the morgue of Matara Hospital.
Weligama Police have launched further investigations into the matter.
