Bribery Commission launches probe over Pandora Papers

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption says investigations have been launched pertaining to the Sri Lankans and relevant deals revealed through the Pandora Papers.

Issuing a statement, the Bribery Commission said a special investigative team was appointed, after President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday ordered the Commission to launch an investigation into the matter promptly.

The President informed the Bribery Commission to submit a report within a month.

The Commission had also informed a faction involved in the incident to arrive at the Bribery Commission tomorrow to record a statement.
