(UTV|COLOMBO) – The body of a police sergeant attached to the Valachchenai was recovered with injuries at Mullamunai in Vavunathivu this morning, Police Media Division said.
It said the deceased aged 55 has been identified as a resident of Mungar, Batticaloa.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Vavunathivu police.
