Bakery industry hit hard by flour prices 

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The All Ceylon Bakery Owner’s Association says bakery owners are struggling to remain in the industry due to the increase in wheat flour prices on a regular basis.

President NK Jayawardena said two main flour distributors in the country had increased a kilogram of wheat flour by Rs.35.

He said bakery owners are also struggling to maintain their businesses due to the current fuel and gas shortage.
