(UTV | COLOMBO) – The bypass road in Avissawella is blocked due to a landslide, Disaster Management Centre (DMC) Deputy Director for Early Warning Pradeep Kodippili said.
He advised the motorists to use the Colombo- Ratnapura road along the Avissawella bus stand.
Necessary action is being taken by the DMC District office, Divisional Secretary and other relevant authorities to clear the blocked bypass road.
