Another consignment of Pfizer vaccines reach SL

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another consignment of 400,000 of Pfizer vaccine donated to Sri Lanka under the COVAX facility sponsored by the World Health Organization and the United States of America has arrived at Katunayake Airport.

The consignment was brought to the Katunayake airport on an Emirates flight EK-652 from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates via the Maldives.

Sri Lanka has received 800,000 Pfizer doses this week.

The total number of vaccines received by Sri Lanka from the United States to date is 2.4 million.
